infections are increasing now a day due to various factors. The present study was carried out the speciation and antifungal susceptibility pattern of isolated from blood body fluids. Blood fluids received in mycology laboratory Microbiology Department, AIMSR, over period six months were included. After microscopy, culture done. spp. diagnosed on basis colony characteristics, Gram staining Germ tube testing identification by Automated Vitek 2 system. Antifungal done using YST08 cards. A total 735 samples received, 53 showed Candida Maximum 23 (43.39%), followed pleural fluid 14 (26.4%). 24(45.3%) 11(20.75%), 9(16.98%) 7(13.20%). sensitive Amphotericin B resistant Fluconazole.

Molecular Identification and Antifungal Susceptibility Pattern of Non-albicans Candida Species Isolated from Vulvovaginal Candidiasis
Background: Vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) is an important health problem caused by Candida spp. The aim of this study was molecular identification, phylogenetic analysis, and evaluation of antifungal susceptibility of non-albicans Candida isolates from VVC. Methods: Vaginal secretion samples were collected from 550 vaginitis patients at Sayyad Shirazi Medical and Educational Center of Gorgan (...
متن کاملIdentification and antifungal susceptibility pattern of Candida species isolated from patients with nosocomial candiduria
Introduction: Nosocomial candiduria could be due to cystitis, pyelonephritis, or fungusball in the urinary tract system. Several reports have shown candidemia and upper urinarytract involvement as the complications of candiduria. The aim of this study was to assessnosocomial candiduria; identify Candida isolates and determine their drug susceptibilitypattern. Materials and Methods: Urine sample...
متن کاملSpeciation and Antifungal Susceptibility Pattern of Candida Isolated from Clinical Specimens
Candida species are the members of the normal flora of the skin, mucous membranes, and gastrointestinal tract. Candidiasis is a common fungal disease found in humans affecting, mucosa, skin, nails and internal organs of the body. Candida albicans is by far the most common species causing infections in humans. (Fridkin, 2006) However, non albicans Candida species are also being implicated in rec...
متن کاملSusceptibility pattern of Candida albicans isolated from Iranian patients to antifungal agents
Background and Purpose: Candidiasis is a major fungal infection, and Candida albicans is the major cause of infections in humans. The Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) developed new breakpoints for antifungal agents against C. albicans. In this multi-center study, we aimed to determine the drug susceptibility profile of C. albicans, isolated from Iranian population according...
متن کاملMolecular identification and in-vitro antifungal susceptibility testing of Candida species isolated from patients with onychomycosis
Background and Purpose: Candida species are the most opportunistic fungi affecting the nails and resulting in onychomycosis. In this study, we identified and evaluated in-vitro susceptibility of the recovered isolates against fluconazole (FLC), voriconazole (VRC), and clotrimazole (CLT) using the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) M27-A3 document. Materials and Method...
